Nine years ago, I registered sherohman.org and set up a site here, but haven't really done much with it since then.

Four months ago, I moved from the US to Sweden.

It's long past time to revise this site.

The major change is the switch from a traditional (and admittedly rather boring) static site to something blog-like. The old version will remain available temporarily by way of the "Legacy Site" button until I finish converting its contents to the new format. Not all of the content will end up on this site, however, as I will also be setting up similar sites at code.sherohman.org (for programming and software-related items) and diabetes.sherohman.org (whose focus should be obvious).

On the legacy site, I have some travel photos and mostly-gaming-related articles which will be coming to this one. The software section will, of course, be going to code.sherohman.org and I'll probably put my CV there as well, since code is the major focus of my work. The WindowMaker themes and brewing log will most likely disappear, as the themes are old and not particularly inspired and I haven't had anything brewing-related to record since 2005.

New content here should mostly consist of life in Sweden with, hopefully, a minimum of the navel-gazing typical of the average amateur personal blog. Interesting links are likely as well, perhaps along with photos of Lund or wherever else I may find myself. And just some general randomness as I find it.

For those who have seen my previous attempts at blogs elsewhere, I'll try not to fall silent as often or for as long on this one. Since it's all mine, I expect it should be easier to keep up with.

So, kick back, wish me luck, and (hopefully) enjoy!
