Hi! I'm Dave Sherohman
and this page is all about me and my projects.
Can you see the fnews?
There's more to the world than readily meets the eye. You know it. Secret
societies and shady organizations vie for influence over society with
subliminal messages hidden in plain sight where millions will see them every
day. Care to join them?
The unholy offspring of a stock simulator and the Bible code, is Fnews just
another quirky news aggregator or is it the path to world domination? You
decide.
If that doesn't float your boat, here are a few other things to keep
you busy until I do something more with this page:
- The main thing I'm interested in making available is the small collection
of Free and Open Source software I've
worked on. Check it out, see if there's anything you think might be neat
(or even just useful), and let me know what's good, what's bad, and what
could be improved. Better yet, make the improvements yourself and send
them to me.
- So, did you want to know a bit about
me? Read about trips I've taken, mead I'm making, my answers
to various trivial questions, and even some stories from my life.
What fun!
- Some rules I've worked up over the years
for various role-playing games (Some of the links are dangling and a lot
of content hasn't been filled in yet, though...
If you see anything that looks interesting, let me know and I'll get
the information up for you.)
- On occasion, I do feel a creative urge to do something other than
crafting code. Sometimes, this results in a
theme for
WindowMaker, my preferred X
window manager. (Maybe next time, it'll bring some ideas for this
page...)
- Everyone else puts their resume on their web pages, so I suppose I'll
put mine on display too. If you know anyone
who's looking to hire a general-purpose Linux geek, let me know. If you
want someone to write code for Windows, don't bother.
Finally, although it's not really my content, I do web hosting for a
couple organizations that I'm involved with, the
Tango Society of Minnesota and
Runehof Asatru Kindred.
