Name: Bodice of the Brush Description: This appears to be a fairly plain brown leather bodice which laces up the front. It is sized for a human woman of average size, but an elf, particularly a larger one, could probably make it fit also. Power: Armor: 1 AP, Body - The bodice's enchantment makes it somewhat tougher than normal leather. Power: Aura of Flora - The wearer will be perceived by all animate plants as if she were just another plant as well. This will generally result in them ignoring her. Detection spells will also register the wearer as a plant unless the caster makes a successful Int check at +10; if this check is made by 30 or more (i.e., Int-20), he will be aware that the wearer's aura is being disguised. Power: Appearance of Brush - By expending 1 MP, the wearer may cast a limited form of Assume Illusionary Appearance which causes the wearer to appear to be a plant appropriate to her surroundings. Observers may see through the illusion on a successful Int test, however the test is at -20 if the wearer remains stationary. This power lasts for 5d6 minutes. History: Note: A perceptive character handling the bodice may notice that its texture is more like bark than leather. Note: If worn by a man, the bodice will provide armor to the body as standard leather (0/1 AP) and have no further effect.
