Name: Belt of the Stag Description: A 4-inch-wide belt of tanned deerskin with the fur still intact. It is fastened with two buckles, both of which have been carved from a deer's hooves. Power: Aura of Fauna - Creatures with only animal intelligence will perceive the wearer to be a natural and non-threatening animal. Aggressive creatures may still attack the wearer, but become subject to stupidity until the first time the wearer attacks them. The wearer will also appear as an animal to detection spells unless the caster makes an Int check at +10; if this check is passed by 30 or more (i.e., Int-20), he will be aware that the wearer's aura is being disguised. Power: Stag's Trace - For a cost of 1 MP, the wearer may leave the tracks and scent of a deer as he travels. This effect lasts for 6d6 minutes or until the wearer has traveled 1 mile, whichever happens first. Power: Doe's Distance - The wearer of this belt is at -20 Fel in any attempt to interact with women in a flirtatious, romantic, or sexual fashion and they have +20 WP to resist any advances he may make. History: Note: A perceptive character may notice that, even when Stag's Trace is not in use, the belt gives off a faint musky smell. Note: If worn by a woman, this belt will have no effect whatsoever.
